Watch Your Mouth- Do you know what you’re praying during worship?
How To Disconnect From Distractions In Order To Reconnect To What Is Important In Your Life
I recently embarked on a trip to Colorado where I was physically and mentally challenged to backpack through mountains for 5 days. This trip included summiting a mountain with 40 lbs on my back and a plague of mosquitos doing everything they could to get me to quit. One of the mottos was “Be where your boots are!”. 3 PRACTICAL WAYS TO START CHANGING THE WAY YOU THINK
What area do you lack confidence in? Is there anything, or do you have it all together? You might but, I think if we all look deeper, there are areas in our lives that we can look at and speak life into. It could be in how we feel about our looks, success in our jobs, marriage, or raising our children. I challenge you to choose an area you’ve been speaking negatively into and find 3 ways you can renew your mind with phrases or scriptures you can speak over yourself.
UNTITLED-Figuring things out
These seasons are truly sacred because we can either draw closer to the Father or end up falling further away because we get in our own way and don’t seek His face in the quiet spaces. I’m still in a place of figuring things out and distractions are abundant these days. I have to just start somewhere and let God lead me and in the moments I have to be still, when it’s quiet, I need to take advantage and seek His face. I need to be more intentional about praying and spending time in His word until I hear my next set of instructions from him.
Realigning Your Focus-Getting Back To Where You Need To Be
I think that is what this pandemic has given us all-an opportunity to realign our focus and get back to where we need to be. Have you taken advantage of this opportunity? What have you done during this time to find your way back to God and His true intentions for your life? Are you still lost in worry about what’s next, or are you looking to him in the present and finding joy again? Are you seeking his presence and relying on HIS strength to get you through, or are you trying to be superwoman/superman to “fix” what has been broken by this pandemic?
Reflections of the heart- What I’ve learned during COVID
I am currently on a self reflecting journey right now. I’ve been active for so long in the church and it seems as though I am not on an unintended sabbatical. This is actually so good for me. As I try to self reflect often and grow, I was in a space for so long where I was pouring out into others. My focus shifted to my family and my girls and I lost the space where I was being able to be filled myself.
