Lessons from Motherhood

As I sit here, wondering what God wants to teach me during this time at home and trying to figure out a schedule where I can have some alone time with him, He reminds me of a story I shared with my friend about a situation that happened with Kinsley a while ago. I didn’t get it then, but I do now.You see, I took Kinsley to ... read more

Gratefulness Pt. 1

Not too long ago, I received a request to share my thoughts on being thankful.  Although Thanksgiving is past, thankfulness to me should be something we practice on a daily basis. This blog will be in two parts.  So much has happened in my life over the past few months and I would like to share my testimony and ... read more

What’s the Hold Up?

“And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He *said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” Revelation 21:5 NASBIf Jesus is making all things new, why is it that people claiming to be Christians stay the same? Acceptance of Christ as a Savior and relationship with ... read more

Don’t Miss It.

I was talking to someone today about dating. Before I get into what I really want to say, I will say that I don’t believe in it anymore.  I never really thought about dating as a bad thing when I didn’t know Jesus, but I know him now and I do not recommend it AT ALL.  If you don’t agree with me that’s ok. But let ... read more

Be Grateful

I have pondered a lot since the launch of the site regarding what I should write next. I had so many ideas. I think it’s only right that I start with one about gratefulness. For me, launching the blog site alone is a dream come true.  I tried to do it so many times, on my own, without any knowledge on how to build a ... read more

I was supposed to write this post in December, and...well, it's March!Sometimes we make commitments that we look back on and say "What in the world was I thinking?!"  I had a moment like that last year. I ... read more

What is Byoutifully Broken?

Being byoutifully broken is having an understanding that we are always working on ourselves to be, and do, better than the day before. It is knowing that God is always exposing and breaking off toxic layers we carry to reveal the true beauty of salvation in us as it applies to each stage of life we are in. Even though there is mess, there is beauty in that mess and the final product that He reveals is the most beautiful portrait of ourselves that can be painted. It’s my understanding that I don’t have to be perfect to be beautiful. That I’m unique; and, in order to live in the fullness of joy He has for me, I have to embrace ALL that I am and ALL that he is within me, even if those parts don't look good. We all have a journey that exposes imperfection. My prayer is that everyone who reads my blogs or seeks out Coaching Services with me understands that they are loved, chosen, and never alone. We grow with others, I hope you choose to grow with me. Read More…
